Electronics Design Co-op – January 2025
We are looking for a fledgling electronics designer – someone with some PCB experience and a hunger to crank this up a few notches. If you:
- have an innate desire to create new things with electronics,
- noodle intently over circuit designs and PCB layouts, and
- yearn to expand your technical depth and understanding,
then you will likely be a great fit!
Will it all be whipped cream and roses? Probably not. But as a team we’ll chip away at this awesome, fun and sometimes infuriating dream that we’ve decided deserves to become a reality.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree in a related field (EE, Eng Phys, Mechatronics, etc.)
- Strong and growing foundation in electronic and microelectronic theory
- Designed, built and tested a few PCBs so far
- Deep, insatiable impulse to understand, and leverage that understanding to create new things
- Innate desire to collaborate, learn, and adapt
Co-op Basics:
- 4-month or 8-month co-ops accepted.
- Co-op begins January 2025.
- Must be able to work on-site at our office in Victoria, BC.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada, or eligible for a TN visa.

Fulfillment Specialist
Blue Robotics is seeking a full time Fulfillment Specialist to ship out orders and deliver superior service to customers, co-workers and vendors along the way.
As the Fulfillment Specialist at Blue Robotics, your daily efforts matter not only to our team, but to our customers eagerly awaiting their order. Each package you pick, pack and ship could be going to explore a shipwreck, study an endangered species, map the ocean floor, etc. We are looking for a high-level of accuracy and consistency from our Fulfillment Specialist in order to minimize delays, avoid complex returns, and maintain a positive customer experience.
When you’re not focused on getting orders out, you will be restocking the shelves, monitoring inventory, and answering questions about orders from our Sales, Marketing & Support team. Throughout the week you may also be asked to help arrange special shipments for your team members. We expect our Fulfillment Specialist to be an excellent communicator so they may work well with other teams and departments.
Our team is willing to learn and ask questions, comfortable receiving feedback, and trusted to work consistently with minimal supervision. We have an appetite for constant improvement and work together to build great products and a great company. We’re looking for a Fulfillment Specialist who is open to feedback, adaptable, and able to learn quickly to fit in our team culture. .
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack and ship customer orders within our shipping window
- Coordinate shipping for other products, materials, and supplies as needed
- Collaborate and communicate with sales and marketing team to ensure excellent customer experience
- Track, trace, and provide updates on the status of outgoing shipments
- Maintain an accurate log of international outgoing shipment documents,
- Provide additional support as needed to Receiving and Packing teams
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience working in a customer-facing environment such as retail, restaurant, or hospitality or1 year experience working in a busy warehouse environment
- Experience using specialized software for your job (such as Toast, OpenTable, ShipStation, ADP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Experience managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively
- Comfortable with GMail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Microsoft 365, etc.
- Comfortable with basic math
- Basic math skills)
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using ShipStation
- Experience using a CRM, ERP, or eCommerce platform
- Experience arranging shipments with Fedex, UPS, USPS, and DHL
- Familiar with HS Codes and international shipping requirements
- DGI certified
- Experience with an electric forklift.(We can provide training and certification!)
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
Job Demands:
- Frequently move items up to 50lbs
- Frequently moving throughout the warehouse to access materials, load/unload shelves and transport items
- Observing details at a close range on paper, packaging, and computer screen
- Operating a computer workstation, printer, and inventory scanner
Pay Range:
- $19 – $23 ; depending on qualifications
